Custom Sanitary Jacketed Pipe Fittings

Custom-fabricated sanitary jacketed pipe fittings for controlled heating or cooling of process piping. Available in 304 and 316L stainless steel, including jacketed elbows, tees, straight pipe sections, and other custom configurations.

The jacket provides a separate flow path for hot water, steam, cooling water, glycol, or other specified media to help maintain the required process temperature. Fittings can be manufactured to your required tube size, connection type, jacket configuration, dimensions, and surface finish.

Custom Configurations

Available configurations include:

  • 304 or 316L stainless steel
  • 45° and 90° elbows
  • Tees, straight pipe sections, reducers, and custom fittings
  • 1″–6″ and DN sizes
  • Tri-Clamp, butt weld, flanged, threaded, DIN, ISO, SMS, or custom connections
  • Full or partial jacket configurations
  • Custom jacket inlet and outlet connections
  • Mirror polished or electropolished surfaces
  • Custom dimensions according to drawing, specification, or sample

Welding & Fabrication

GTAW (TIG) welding with high-purity argon back purging can be used for sanitary process connections. Single-side welding with full penetration helps achieve a smooth internal weld profile and minimize areas where product or cleaning media could be retained.

Pressure & Leak Testing

Pressure and leak testing can be provided for the process side and jacket side according to the specified test pressure, test medium, and applicable requirements. Test documentation can be supplied when required.

Applications

Jacketed sanitary fittings are used where the process fluid needs to be heated or cooled while flowing through the piping system. The external jacket allows hot water, steam, cooling water, or glycol to circulate around the process line to help maintain the required product temperature.

Typical applications include:

  • Chocolate and confectionery transfer lines
  • Syrup and high-viscosity food products
  • Dairy and beverage processing
  • Pharmaceutical and biotech process lines
  • Temperature-sensitive or heat-maintained process fluids
Can jacketed sanitary fittings be customized to a specific design?
Yes. Jacketed fittings can be manufactured according to drawings, specifications, samples, or required piping dimensions.
What types of sanitary jacketed fittings can be manufactured?
Custom configurations can include 45° and 90° elbows, tees, straight sections, reducers, and other application-specific fittings.
Can the jacket cover only part of the fitting?
Yes. Full or partial jacket configurations can be supplied according to the required heating or cooling area and piping design.
Can the jacket inlet and outlet connections be customized?
Yes. Jacket inlet and outlet connections can be configured according to the heating or cooling medium and system requirements.
Can 304 or 316L stainless steel be specified?
Yes. 304 and 316L stainless steel configurations are available depending on the process and application requirements.
Can the internal surface be polished or electropolished?
Yes. Mechanical polishing and electropolishing can be specified according to the required surface finish and application.
Can the process side and jacket side be pressure tested separately?
Yes. Pressure and leak testing can be specified separately for the process side and jacket side according to the required test pressure, medium, and procedure.
Can test documentation be provided?
Test documentation can be supplied when required, according to the agreed testing requirements.
